Patch Capture
Patch Capture helps OrcheStruct connect live tracks to loaded instrument or snapshot evidence when the track name alone is not enough.
When To Use It
Use Patch Capture when a live Cubase row is clearly a real instrument, but OrcheStruct cannot prove the loaded patch, Kontakt instrument, or product identity from names and catalog evidence alone.
Safe Expectations
Patch Capture improves evidence. It does not guarantee every vendor and engine exposes a perfect patch name. Some instruments expose only partial state, generic engine labels, or no readable snapshot identity.
- Kontakt and NKS evidence can be strong when installed manifests are available.
- Generic engine labels may need track-name or catalog context.
- Weak evidence should stay reviewable instead of becoming a false green result.
